How do I change the up and down function of the settings on a pioneer radio?

Okay, the stereo I have is a super tuner iii D pioneer radio. So when I put the bass level up on on the radio on my car, I press the function button and the bass goes up. But how do I put it down? None of the buttons work. What button do I press to put the bass level down?
