What do I need to hook up Surround Sound?

Some HTIB like the colby will only play surround through the included DVD player so it may or may not play surround with a ps3 attached only stereo something to consider when trying to cut corners and buy the least expensive units....if the Coby has optical in then more than likely it will also play surround but if only RCA in is included then probably not....do not expect a whole lot of volume or clarity either as those units are limited in output...a dedicated receiver like the Pionner VSX 520 would be a wiser choice but also more money....
