I need hair styling ideas?

Normally my hair is nice and neat but I want to change it up like spike it or something. It's short like a pixie cut the bangs go to about my eyebrows and the rest is like an inch long. Alls I have at the moment is hairspray and Aussie mousse and my hair Is think and heavy. Any ideas maybe a picture if you can find one?
