Yu-Gi-Oh Rulings Question?

All Aesir monsters can, if they're destroyed by the opponent's card in battle or by card effect, Special Summon themselves during the End Phase by removing the appropriate Tuner monster from play. Also, there's a ruling that says that if your Aesir monster comes under the control of the opponent, and you destroy it, you cannot Speecial Summon it because it was your card that destroyed it, not your opponent's card. So if your opponent controls your Aesir monster, and they destroy it themselves, can you Special Summon it?
