Should I ask someone to tune my violin for me at my audition?

I have an audition to get into college today and I need to have my violin tuned. I cannot play it to them as it is because my notes will not be perfectly in tune. I do not he time to purchase a chromatic tuner. Should I ask them to tune my violin for me when I get there?? Or would I sound stupid?? Btw this is uk college that you go to when you are 16.
